Majed Alqahtani
Majed Al Qahtani leads the objection department at Andersen. He is an expert in Saudi law, focusing on corporate and commercial law with emphasis on tax and bankruptcy. After the recent Royal decree, where all objections must be handled by a practicing lawyer, Majed focused his efforts in this area with the help of a strong team of experts.
Majed started off his career training across Saudi courts including the criminal court, Public Court, implementation court and others for a three-year period, after which he was granted his license to practice law by the Minister of Justice in Saudi Arabia. Majed has since worked with law firms to provide numerous clients with legal advice and represent clients before courts and other governmental bodies for all related legal cases that operate within the legal framework and regulatory requirements of the kingdom.
Majed joined Andersen in April 2019 as a legal tax advisor where he effectively helps clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. Majed has certification in tax laws, accounting principles, bankruptcy laws and loan documentation.
